Sleep Consultant Services

Because a well-rested family is a thriving family.

At Nurture and Naps, I understand that sleep is one of the most precious—and elusive—gifts in early parenthood. Whether you're navigating frequent night wakings, bedtime battles, or nap resistance, my specialised sleep consultant services are here to support your entire family on the journey to better rest.

Why Seek Sleep Support?

Sleep struggles are incredibly common—and incredibly exhausting. Whether you have a newborn who won’t settle, a toddler waking multiple times a night, or a child resisting bedtime, the impact on your family can be profound. Tiredness can affect mood, mental health, relationships, and even bonding with your little one. You are not alone, and you don't have to just "wait it out."

Some common challenges I help with:

  • Frequent night wakings

  • Short or skipped naps

  • Early rising (yes, 4:30am counts!)

  • Bedtime resistance and battles

  • Transitions (cot to bed, nap changes, new sibling, etc.)

  • Sleep regressions

  • Creating gentle routines and sleep associations

  • Supporting children with Autism and ASD through tailored, sensitive sleep strategies

And remember—there’s no such thing as bad sleep habits. There are only sleep arrangements that may have worked before, but aren’t working anymore. That’s where I come in.

My Approach

I offer tailored, compassionate sleep support that suits your parenting style and your child’s individual needs. There's no one-size-fits-all plan here. With a deep understanding of child development and sleep science—and a whole lot of empathy—I create a realistic and gentle sleep plan to help your child feel secure and rested, and you feel supported and confident.

❗️Please note: I do not offer cry-it-out methods. All my approaches are gentle, responsive, and respectful of your child’s emotional well-being.

I work fully in line with The Lullaby Trust’s safe sleep guidelines, ensuring that any advice I offer supports the safest possible sleep environment for your baby or child.

If co-sleeping is the right choice for your family, I offer support to your family to help you do it safely and confidently. Whether you’re co-sleeping by choice or necessity, your sleep journey is valid—and I’ll meet you right where you are.

One of the core principles I share with families is that sleep promotes sleep. When a child gets the rest they need during the day, they’re more likely to sleep better at night. It’s not about strict routines—it’s about tuning into your child’s natural rhythms and building a foundation for healthy, restorative sleep.

My consultations include:

  • A comprehensive sleep assessment

  • A personalised sleep plan

  • Ongoing support and guidance

  • Tools to respond to sleep regressions, changes, or developmental leaps

I’ll work with you to create healthy sleep habits that feel right for your family—without leaving your little one to cry alone.

Specialist Support for Children with Autism and ASD

Sleep challenges can be especially common for children with Autism and ASD, and often require a uniquely sensitive and flexible approach. I have experience supporting neurodiverse children and their families with custom sleep strategies that acknowledge sensory needs, communication styles, and comfort preferences.

Whether you're facing bedtime resistance, night waking, or environmental sensitivities, I’ll work closely with you to find practical solutions that feel right for your child—and support you as a parent, too.

You Deserve Rest, Too

I know how hard it can be to ask for help. But when you're running on empty, it's harder to be the parent you want to be. Getting support with sleep isn’t a luxury—it’s an act of care for your child and for yourself.

Let’s work together to bring calm to bedtime, confidence to your evenings, and peace of mind throughout the night.
